Overview

The VH242H is a high performance AV and Gaming TFT monitor from Asus.

With a 24" (23.6" to be precise) Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and an amazing 5mS response time, coupled with 170(h) by 160 (v) degree viewing angle.

Aspect ratio control caters for 4:3 ratio signal sources or widescreen inputs to be used without picture distortion.

ASCR (Asus Smart Contrast Ratio) Technology dynamically adjusts the backlight operation according to the picture content giving more realistic and vibrent representation of day and night scenes during both games and movies.

With VGA, DVI-D and HDMI Connectivity, the VH242H can be connected to any PC or laptop as well as being used in a home entertainment system with satellite receiver, blu-ray or DVD signal sources.  The integrated SPDIF Audio connection allows a digital connection to home theater systems.
